The film Gladiator was loosely based on one of Happy’s family holidays to the popular destination of Menorca
In the year 2000 Happy’s forceful mother made him audition for the role of Neville Longbottom, against his will, despite getting to the final three, he was pipped to the post by Matthew Lewis. Producers really liked his compelling performance but he was deemed too tall for the role as he stands at just under 9ft.
